Fixing a Leaky Faucet (Belanger)

My bathroom sink faucet started leaking a few days ago so, I set about to fix it.
First I turned off the cold water, the tap was still leaking, so, then I turned the cold back on and turned off the hot water. The leak stopped. With that simple test I had found that the leak was coming from the hot water tap.
I then turned off both water sources, plugged the drain (don't want to lose any small parts down the drain) and started in on pulling apart the hot water tap which is actually really easy.
One set screw is all that holds the handle on, with the set screw removed the handle comes off and you have the cartridge that needs to be replaced. Fixing the faucet is as simple as pulling the cartridge out and heading to the hardare store to find an exact match replacement before reassembling the tap.

Although parking in the garage may seem like a simple task, for many people it is a frustrating one. Knowing where to stop is the frustrating aspect for many. How To Properly Paint Garage Floors

Concrete is a strong durable material commonly found in construction. If you have a garage floor there is a good chance that it is concrete.

A concrete floor by itself isn't the most beautiful thing in the world, but with a little effort and a trip to the hardware store you can change your concrete floor from boring and stale to the eye-catching centre piece of the garage.

First we have to get one thing clear before starting, we are painting a concrete floor in a garage and not a carport.

Moisture in concrete is an all-stop when it comes to painting. If you decide to paint over concrete that tests positive for moisture you will also be deciding to waste your time and money. The moisture vapour will lift through the ground and remove your paint! If you are using oil-based paints on your floor this will worsen the problem, so never use oil based (or alkyd paints) on concrete.

Back to the moisture ...
